Born in Athens, Greece, in 1996, Elena’s musical odyssey led her to Birmingham, UK, in 2016, driven by a passion ignited by her father and late brother. Enrolled at Birmingham City University for a degree in Popular Music Performance.

Her musical journey began at a young age, influenced by her grandparents who were both involved in the arts. Her grandfather, a composer and songwriter, introduced her to the piano, sparking a love for music that would become her lifeline. Despite a challenging childhood marked by her parents’ divorce and the loss of her brother, Elena found solace in music, her escape amidst the chaos.

Elena has emerged as the ‘Greek Rock Goddess,’ drawing inspiration from icons like Paramore, Avril Lavigne, Miley Cyrus, Muse, and the Arctic Monkeys.

Elena’s passion for singing was recognized early on by a music teacher who chose her to perform at a school celebration. This affirmation of her talent gave Elena the confidence to take her singing seriously. At the age of 16, she wrote her first song, a tribute to her late grandfather.

Her relocation to the UK was a challenging period marked by depression, anorexia, PTSD, and physical pain. But Elena refused to let these struggles define her. Instead, she used them as stepping stones on her path to healing and self-discovery.

Elena’s music has evolved over the years from acoustic melodies to more alternative rock compositions. Despite English being her second language, she has honed her song writing skills through daily practice and perseverance.

Her song writing process is an intimate one. She draws inspiration from a lyric book filled with personal stories and experiences, pairing narratives with guitar chords that resonate with the emotions she wishes to convey. The result is a song that is raw, authentic, and deeply moving.

Elena’s upcoming album is a testament to the human spirit’s resilience, exploring themes of grief, depression, physical abuse, break-ups, and self-confidence. One of the highlights of this album is the song ‘Somewhere Away,’ marking Elena’s transition from an acoustic artist to a rock alternative artist.
